Beer Gardens to Enjoy in Manchester
The Old Wellington, Shambles Square
A few minutes walk from CitySuites is Shambles Square, Manchester. This area is home to a number of pubs with outdoor space. One of the highlights is The Old Wellington with outdoor food and drinks.
People have been enjoying a social drink and bite to eat since well before the pandemic and Shambles Square is the perfect place for it. With The Old Wellington, alfresco drinking and dining, you won't regret visiting.
Oast House, Spinningfields
Another Spinningfields favourite, Oast House is an extensive outdoor courtyard space with exceptional food and drink selections.
This is another one that’ll take a little over 10 minutes to get on foot from the CitySuites front door. And with its canopies and outdoor heaters, you should feel toasty enough outside even if it’s a tad cool.
20 Stories, Spinningfields
Ok, so we know this list is starting to look a little Spinningfields heavy. But it really is a fantastic place to eat and drink al fresco in the heart of the city. And 20 Stories is another amazing venue that delivers an attractive array of drinks. 20 Stories has a stunning outdoor terrace, too, ensuring you and your friends, co-workers, or whoever you take with you have an amazing time.
Canal Street, City Centre
Canal Street sits at the heart of Manchester’s Gay Village and welcomes thousands of visitors for outdoor eating and drinking on sunny weekends. With a variety of food and drinking spaces, Canal Street is an ideal area for beer garden weather.
You can get to Canal Street on foot from CitSuites in around 15 minutes.
Dukes 92, Castlefield
You can walk to Castlefield from CitySuites in 15 to 20 minutes. And while many of the bars in that area enjoy large outdoor dining spaces and beer gardens, Dukes 92 has a particularly impressive outdoor space. Its huge beer garden has been exceptional and is a popular spot for a sunny beer garden afternoon or evening.
Hatch, Oxford Road
Just a mile from CitySuites you’ll find Hatch, a food and drink destination just off Oxford Road. Hatch brings together food and drinks traders aplenty. This buzzing area is a hit with students, families, couples, you name it.
Check out their selection of beers, wonderful eats, and an elevated atmosphere, Hatch is fantastic for beer garden days.
