CitySuites Living House Rules

House rules for all CitySuites Living Residents

Please note the following Health & Safety Rules.

All residents acknowledge & agree they will:

  • Observe fire and safety precautions, signage, and guidance at all times.
  • Respond immediately if the fire alarm is sounded by following the evacuation procedure for the building.
  • Pay for the repair and/or replacement of any apartment damage caused by the resident, including electrical & kitchen appliances.
  • Pay for the repair and/or replacement of any communal damage caused by the resident, including but not limited to our lobbies, facilities, lifts, stairwells, and corridors.
  • Allow access to CitySuites Living staff and/or contractors to the apartment/s to carry out necessary works when needed.

All residents acknowledge & agree they will not, under any circumstances:

  • Open the windows of the apartments beyond their restricted opening limit.
  • Keep any pets or other animals in the apartments without filling out the Pet Policy provided by CitySuites Living management.
  • Bring anything into the premises that may be dangerous or may have a detrimental effect to building safety or the health and safety of our staff or other guests.
  • Use the premises for any illegal activity and/or purpose.
  • Bring any illegal or controlled substances into the premises.
  • Bring any size gas canisters, including helium gas canisters, into the premises. Doing so will incur a fine of up £500 at our discretion, including the disposal of any empty canisters.
  • Wedge or jam open any fire door.
  • Misuse or set-off any fire alarm or fire safety appliance in the premises without due cause.
    If the resident does set off a fire alarm without due cause they agree to pay on written demand a reasonable sum as required by the relevant emergency service to cover any resulting costs.
  • Smoke inside the building, tamper or obstruct any smoke or heat detectors.
  • Use any kind of douche / bidet attachment or external hose fitting or device with the apartment sinks or plumbing is strictly prohibited. If evidence of such use is found, any attached devices will be removed from the apartment and the resident will be liable for associated damage and repair costs, with a minimum charge of £500.
  • Not bring electric bikes or electric scooters anywhere inside the CitySuites Living building, including any of our apartments. (If you require bike storage, please ask to use our gated bike storage area.)

Residents are responsible for the safety and conduct of any visitors they invite into the building at all times.

Any visitors who are under the age of 16 must be accompanied at all times outside your apartment.

Residents must not sub-let their apartment and are not allowed to use their apartment to host any events without the prior knowledge and consent of CitySuites Living Management.

Swimming pool

Please also see our separate rules displayed in the swimming pool. Specifically, residents are asked to note:

  • CitySuites Living provides an unmanned and unsupervised pool and spa pool (jacuzzi) for the exclusive use of residents.
  • Residents are aware of the inherent risks that come with using the pool and spa pool (jacuzzi), and do so entirely at their own risk.
  • Children under 18 are strictly prohibited from using our spa pools (jacuzzi).
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied at all times when using the swimming pool.
  • Although CitySuites Living checks the chlorine level parameters throughout the day, the chemical chlorine can sometime create fading / whitening to certain fabrics. You use the swimming pool facilities entirely at your own risk.
  • Smoking, including e-cigarettes, and alcohol are strictly prohibited in all areas of the pool.

Gym

  • CitySuites Living provides an unmanned and unsupervised gym facility for the exclusive use of residents.
  • Residents are aware of the inherent risks that come with using the gym, and do so entirely at their own risk.
  • Do not use any gym equipment you are not familiar with.
  • Seek medical advice before using the equipment if you have a medical problem.
  • Comply with any advice and directions provided by any notices on display.
  • Children under 18 are strictly prohibited from using all gym equipment.
  • Physical and verbal abuse will not be tolerated and you will be held responsible for any damage caused intentionally or negligently.
  • You must behave in a reasonable and courteous manner so as not to be offensive or cause disturbance to the enjoyment of our gym facilities by other residents.
  • Smoking, including e-cigarettes, and alcohol are strictly prohibited in all areas of the gym.

Embankment Kitchen & Embankment Cafe Co.

Please note that we are unable to charge any food or drink to your apartment. Any items ordered on these premises must be paid for via a credit or debit card at the point of sale.
