As you wander through the city centre, you'll find yourself transported: browse the bustling markets of Marrakech, soak in the energy of New York, Paris, or Mumbai, and wander through Amsterdam’s famous tulip fields. All of this comes to life through dazzling plants, flowers, and breath-taking floral artistry.

Legends of Soul at Edgeley Park
Experience a night of timeless classics at Edgeley Park in Stockport. The "Legends of Soul" concert promises an electrifying evening with performances by stars from London's renowned productions like Tina the Musical, Sister Act, and Motown the Musical. Festival of Libraries
Dates: Wednesday 4th - Sunday 8th June, 2025
Celebrate Greater Manchester's rich literary heritage at the Festival of Libraries, taking place from Wednesday 4 June to Sunday 8 June 2025. This festival will feature a diverse program of exhibitions, performances, talks, workshops, and art installations, all reflecting the immense value libraries bring to their communities. Events will be hosted across 133 libraries in the region, including renowned institutions like Central Library, Chetham’s, The Portico Library, and the John Rylands Research Institute and Library. Manchester City of Literature.
The festival aims to remind everyone of the breadth of services libraries offer, from access to books to providing spaces for learning, creativity, and community engagement. All events are free to attend, making it an inclusive celebration for all ages.
